PRO BRO Express operates one of the fastest-growing networks of express tunnel car washes in Europe. These car washes are technically capable of handling 220 vehicles per hour, with minimal staff and a business model focused on efficiency, sustainability, and ease of replication. With 25 locations already running in Lithuania and Latvia, the company is now targeting key European markets, starting with Poland.
To support its next phase of growth, PRO BRO Express has brought in João Noronha Lopes as an advisor. A former McDonald’s executive with more than 20 years of experience in global franchising and European operations, Lopes says he sees strong fundamentals in the company’s model. In his advisory role, he contributes an outside perspective on what makes franchise systems work, from operational discipline to consistency and scalability.
“A successful franchise is about systems, not hype. What impressed me about PRO BRO Express was not just the ambition but the clarity of execution. The model is already working, and it combines technology, operational discipline, and a customer experience built around speed and quality. It is a unique car wash concept designed to make operations easier, smarter, and less labor-intensive, and that is what convinced me there is real potential for scale,” says Lopes, who spent nearly 20 years at McDonald’s in roles including CEO of Portugal, SVP of South Europe, and Corporate VP responsible for franchising worldwide.
Why Poland, and why now?
Poland offers strong fundamentals for PRO BRO Express’s next phase of growth. The country has a large and active car market with 25 million registered vehicles, rising consumer expectations, and infrastructure that supports scalable service-based businesses, with sustainable, technology-enabled services gaining increasing traction among consumers.
The opportunity is also about changing habits. According to PRO BRO’s internal market assessment, many drivers in Poland wash their cars around 1 time per month. In markets where PRO BRO’s subscription-based express tunnel model is already established, some customers wash up to 4–5 times per month, because car washing becomes quick, easy, and attractively priced. More frequent use also makes the service more efficient to operate.
In uncertain economic conditions, proven franchise models offer investors a more structured path into business ownership, with access to established systems, technology, and ongoing support. PRO BRO’s model is built around clarity of execution — a simple, scalable, and smart operating system already working across Lithuania and Latvia, with express tunnel layouts capable of servicing around 450,000 cars per year.
“For us, scaling is not about selling a concept and stepping back,” says Evaldas Kinderis, founder and CEO of PRO BRO Express. “Franchise partners receive a system that has already been tested in practice, from operational processes to technology and ongoing support. Our role is to help them run efficiently and grow sustainably, because their success is what allows the network to expand.”
Tech-driven and environmentally conscious
PRO BRO Express’s technological edge gives it a distinct advantage. While traditional car washes often take up to 10 minutes per vehicle, PRO BRO’s Express tunnels clean a car in just 96 seconds. Because several cars can pass through the tunnel simultaneously, the system can achieve a throughput of up to 220 cars per hour. Automated dosing, smart sensors, and water recycling systems are integrated across all locations, making the model faster, more efficient, and more sustainable.
In a time when efficiency and sustainability are top of mind for both consumers and investors, the company delivers on both fronts. Its combination of smart systems, clear operating logic, and a leadership team with long-term vision positions the company well for expansion into new markets.
